The Environmental Health Alliance of Trinidad and Tobago is an organization that actively partners with homeowners, residents, companies, government agencies, and other NGOs to create and maintain healthy physical environments for humans and animals to live and thrive. We focus on controlling and eliminating pollution, as well as developing green spaces and infrastructure necessary to enhance the quality of life for all citizens of T&T.

In the past 15 years, cancer rates have skyrocketed across Trinidad and Tobago. Although cancer development may be multi-factorial in nature, numerous studies indicate that air pollution has a critical, antecedent, and even causal role in a myriad of cancers worldwide. This is especially true in Trinidad and Tobago, a country that is highly industrialized and subject to excessive, unregulated, overwhelming air pollution at the domestic, commercial, and industrial levels.
