Since the HDC has taken control of the Trestrail Lands site, there have been repeated problems with bushfires, garbage fires and dust emanating from the site. While it is noted that residents of the Arima Old Road situated adjacent to the site may be causing the initial fires, we also call upon the HDC to secure their land and its perimeter. We have written to the HDC and also had discussions with the HDC’s site rep Mr. Curtis Alleyne.
